Community & Content Manager

Nimber is a community delivery service that matches people who need to send something with someone going that way, anyway. By working together as a community we can make shipping easier, eco-friendly, and more personal.

We are looking for a smart, creative, and passionate community & content manager who can take community growth to the next level. If you’re nuts about Facebook, batty about Twitter, la-la about Youtube, and can’t get enough of creating kick-ass content that people love, then this could be the job for you.

The Candidate

You are a clever communicator who can see things differently. You can write fantastic, engaging copy in your sleep and have an almost-obsessive attention to detail. You’ll also have command of best practices and trends in social media, email marketing and content creation, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you’ll be responsible for amplifying the reach of our messages across target audiences – with campaigns that are smart, impactful and measurable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Head of Marketing to grow the marketplace
  • Drive usage using social media, newsletters, and content to engage the community
  • Influencer outreach to raise awareness
  • Ensure insights from social and content are regularly disseminated across the wider marketing team
  • Provide support for senders and bringers, build a relationship with the community

Key skills and experience

  • An eye for creative content
  • A passion for writing
  • 1+ year of experience of social media and email marketing
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in using a wide variety of social platforms and analytical tools
  • Can-do attitude and self-motivated
  • A good sense of humour

Desired skills and experience

  • Track record of excelling social media and email engagement
  • Track record of creating highly engaged content
  • History of community building
  • Startup experience
  • Proficiency in Norwegian (not a must)
